My name is Alex Izraev, I'm a filmmaker based in Prague, focused on nerrative-driven, atmospheric storytelling.

I work across commercials, short and feature films, music videos, and branded content, always aiming for images that serve emotion before technique.

​

My background includes film studies at ORT Psagot Film and Television College in Israel and three years of mandatory military service as a director and cinematographer in the IAF Filming Unit, experience which shaped both my discipline and my visual language.

Since then, I've collaborated on wide range of productions in different roles on set, which allows me to approach cinematography with strong technical foundation and practical understanding of light.

Outside of film, I compose music, some of which has been released on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Youtube. A practice that continues to influence how I think about rhythm, mood and pacing in my visual work.
