My name is Alex Izraev and I am a cinematographer and gaffer based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

 

Ever since I remember myself, I was always interested in telling stories through artistic mediums, but the moment I laid my hands on a camera for the first time, I knew where I wanted to focus my life.

I studied for two years in ORT Psagot Film and Television College in Karmiel, Israel, where I directed my first short film and it was at that moment that I completely fell in love with the craft of film making.

​

After graduation, I served three years of mandatory military service in the Israeli Air Force as a director and cinematographer in the IAF Cinema Unit, continuing and strengthening my passion for it.

Since then I have worked on many different kinds of projects, such as commercials, feature films, short films, music videos and corporate videos, both as a cinematographer and a gaffer.
 

On my leisure time I also compose music and have released some of it on different musical platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and more.
